FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’m [Gray-A/Demi/other sexuality], does that count as being on the asexual spectrum?
Any orientation on the asexual spectrum is welcome on this blog, including Gray-A and demi. I have interviewed a wide-range of artists from all parts of spectrum. If you’re on the asexual spectrum, you’re eligible to be interviewed.
Do you consider writing/cooking/performing/whatever art?
Yes! All creative pursuits are considered art. If you check out the pages on the site, you’ll see that I’ve interviewed a wide range of artists from all sorts of different fields.
How do the interviews work?
You send me an email, I send you a welcome email with instructions about how everything works.
Are you only interviewing professionals?
NO! ALL ace artists are welcomed here and eligible to be interviewed. This is including (but not limited to): professional, aspiring, students, and hobbyists.
If you create, you have something to offer the community and the world.
What about aros (aromantics) not on the asexual spectrum?
I’m open to interviewing aros, although I request that you tell me in an email you’re aro but not ace so I can send you the right set of questions.
Do I have to use my real name?
Nope. You can use a pen name, a pseudonym, an alias, your initials, or whatever you like. John/Jane Doe might look slightly peculiar, but if that’s the name you want to use, more power to you. We can easily figure out something if you don’t want to (or can’t) use your real name.

I’ll never censor artists (though I do request you don’t send any over-the-top violent imagery and keep the sexual content to a bare minimum. Also, no art that depicts violence against minors or animals). However, there are a few things that will result in my cancelling an interview. They are as follows:
- Violence against women (including groping) has a zero-tolerance policy. Violating or abusing another person in whatever way has a zero tolerance policy. I don’t tolerate abuse against myself or others.
- Hate is not tolerated on this blog. I know allos do and say some really fucked up shit (and feel free to talk about that), however all statements like “Allos don’t know what real love is” or “Allos should all die” is bullshit. Also, I don’t tolerate misogyny, homophobia, or racism. This blog is a safe space.
- Hyper aggressive sales pitches are not welcome here. Being proud of your work is one thing. But if the only advice you can offer aspiring artists is “BUY MY WORK! SUPPORT ME!” that’s obnoxious and self-centered. It’s not helping anyone and it makes you look like a jackass.
There are probably some other things I’m forgetting, which I’ll add when I think of them, but I think that’s enough for the time being.
