Hello all.
I have decided that Asexual Artists will no longer have a presence on Tumblr due to the constant cyber bullying and harassment I have experienced since going on hiatus. I know people don’t get how much work goes into this site, but it is like a full time job. It takes hours and hours of work. It’s really selfish to constantly badger me to work on the site.
It’s really frustrating how many people I’ve had to block (via email, Instagram, and other social media) because they think I’m a machine who exists to work on this site. Sending me hundreds of messages via social media isn’t a good look. It’s straight up harassment.
I don’t know when I’ll return to this site, but this sort of behavior isn’t helping. I have a life and my own creative pursuits. I’m so shaken by this that I really can’t come up with the words to express what I want to, so I think I’m going to end it there.
For those of you, the majority of you, who have respected my boundaries and offered well wishes, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re why I’m determined to keep this site up and running. I love meeting your wonderful selves at cons and you often make me smile and warm my heart. I hope to see you at cons in the future and feel free to keep in touch.
To those of you who feel it appropriate to bombard my inboxes with demands and threats, I have nothing to say to you.

Whoa, I’m sorry to hear that. It can’t be much of an incentive to continue the project, and it goes to show how humans are really good at alienating and driving away people who are actually trying to do things for the community.
Obviously, it’s less work to harrass you than actually offering to take over the interview process and help you run the project …
